Increasing Emotional Intelligence: A Workshop for Managers and Professionals

Description:  Emotional Intelligence is a KEY component to becoming an effective leader.  Successful leaders possess both emotional self-awareness and self-regulation.

Ineffective leaders struggle with:

  • Impatience and poor impulse control
  • Being easily frustrated and defensive
  • Having difficulty managing stressful situations
  • Spending too much time on correcting rather than producing
  • A lack of understanding of others
  • Experiencing high turnover

Effective leaders succeed by:

  • Having greater mental and emotional poise
  • Taking the right actions rather than making hasty decisions
  • Staying in control and solving problems more effectively
  • Communicating more effectively
  • Having increased confidence and leadership presence
  • Having increased credibility and respect
  • Achieving better results

This workshop is offered both on and off-site.
